Q. What is Pole Fitness Instructor Training
Our Pole Fitness Instructor Training programme are a comprehensive collection of courses offering nationally and internationally recognised teaching qualifications, suitable for all participants who limited prior experience on a pole and / or limited teaching experience, as well as a recognised certification for more experienced pole instructors seeking a recognised accreditation teaching certificate. Our fitness qualifications are written with the Exercise to Music (ETM) knowledge to support the course and are designed primarily for fitness professionals who have an ETM qualification to level 2 fitness qualification or similar. However, you do NOT need these to attend but you must have some experience in pole fitness as a student to attend our training courses.

Foundation Instructor Training Qualification 16 REP’s points (2.5 days)
Intermediate / Advanced Instructor Training Qualification 16 REP’s points (2.5 days) which includes Invert / Safe Spotting Techniques for Health and Safety and Duty of Care when teaching students
Q. Can I do this online?
You will always get the most from training in front of an instructor who can guide you and help you but we appreciate that some students cannot get the time off work or away from family or business so for this reason we now offer online training that also includes full ongoing support.
Q. Is there an exam?
Yes, both the venue courses and online offer exams to ensure you are at the requisite standard required to teach safely.
For online the exam can be taken either as a video submission or for a small cost you may attend our training days to take the exam in person in front of the examiner.
For online exam assessments we require
1. A video submission (by private link on YouTube) of you teaching either 1-2-1 or in a class environment.
2. The video must be for a minimum of 20 minutes to a maximum of 40 minutes
3. The video must contain you teaching pole moves from the syllabus of those moves included in the course only please, with a minimum of 5 moves shown.
4. The video must be clear vision of you, showing your whole body and face on to the camera and not edited
5. The video must have clear sound of you speaking to the class or student. Please avoid background music for this assessment.
6. The video must show appropriate hand grips for the moves taught.
7. The video must show correct body positioning of instructor and student and spotter if spotter required.
8. The video must show correct spotting technique of instructor and student.
9. The video must show a safe studio environment including safety mats in use during teaching.
10. The video must be submitted within 4-6 weeks of completion of your training.
Online training includes online video assessment by our examiners. If you fail the video process you will be required to resubmit another video to pass the exam where there will be an extra cost to assess this by the examiners.
Q.Is the Pole Fitness Instructor Training Certified?
Yes! As a registered training provider we are proud to offer you recognised qualifications since 2008. Our Instructor Training courses are the most comprehensive available anywhere and are accredited with REP’s for 16 CPD points each for the 2.5 days and 8 points for the 1 day course (40 CPD total). The courses maps to D414, D415, D416, D412, D417 and C35 of the National Occupational Standards and recognised by Skills Active. If you are REP’s registered you will get Certification otherwise the training offers a recognised Certificate of Accreditation suitable for most insurance companies to offer Pole specific teaching cover.
Your qualifications will certify you to teach Internationally throughout the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa too

Q. What’s included in the Training?
Our comprehensive training covers beginner, intermediate and advanced pole moves and includes warm up and cool down routines as well as specific anatomy and teaching technique and pole safety. Comprehensive training is split between class room and studio with written and practical exam. Our Advanced One Day Course gives emphasis on pole safety and spotting techniques for safe upside down moves and invert training.
Assessment includes:
Coursework consisting 2 days intensive tuition plus half day practical and theory assessment
Written theory paper, short answers and multiple choice
Practical examination, in a group relaxed and supportive setting
Please note: provisions are made for those who ask for additional help and where English language is not their first language.
Q: Is there an entry requirement?
You will need to come with a passion for learning as our courses are intense. Anyone can attend our training courses as the emphasis is on teaching safely and effectively and not the skills you bring. Experience in pole and fitness will be a huge benefit and consequently highly recommended and you will progress at a quicker rate

Q: Will there be a breaks during the training?
There will be a one hour lunch break each day and short breaks for refreshments. Our training locations have lunch facilities as well as drinks and snacks to keep you hydrated and energy levels high. Please feel free to bring extra snacks and water with you especially if you have specific dietary requirements.
Q: What if I do not pass the written and/or practical exam?
Our fully qualified instructors are committed to your success and learning. We make provision for students who’s first language is not English and also those students with learning difficulties. If you do not pass the exam you are welcome to attend the whole training course again, or just the exam element completely FREE of charge within 12 months of your original course date. There will be a charge for accommodation

Q: Is there suitable accommodation to stay over?
Yes, we can provide a list of local hotels and bed and breakfast for the chance for total immersion and networking with like minded students or you can choose to either travel each day. Please ask us for more details
Q: Can I host my own training?
Yes, we can arrange your own training at your studio and subject to minimum numbers or booking we can supply both the trainers and equipment to work with you and ensure you have everything you need to confidently offer pole fitness training. We can offer

Q: Do you offer a refund / cancellation policy?
We do not offer refunds but any payments made may be transferred to another course or other candidates name within 12 months of payment, if you notify us within no less than 4 weeks prior to training.
In the unlikely event of operational challenges, we reserve the right to change the course venues and dates at short notice, in such circumstances we will offer a change of date option. ALL ONLINE COURSES are non refundable
Q: Am I likely to get a job after my training?
Our training packages are world known and highly respected in the pole community we have networked and created World Champions since 2009. We also offer licenses so you would have our support and business knowledge experience too we would love to hear from you if you would like to carry our professional brand and techniques forward into the fitness and dance industry.
Q. Can I do this online?
Foundation Course in Pole Dance Fitness offers a recognised qualification for those looking to learn to teach Pole dance or for existing instructors looking for a recognised qualification. If you are new to pole fitness or an existing pole instructor, our pole fitness instructor teacher training programmes are specifically designed to offer an accessible route into teaching Pole Fitness as well as Qualified Teacher Status. A must have for all those who take their training and teaching seriously.
This course is ideal for students who want to become Professional Accredited Instructors, or new and existing instructors looking to improve their knowledge with the option of ongoing support to help you to meet daily challenges in a professional, proficient way. Improving performance and effectiveness with structured training and class ideas designed to raise your confidence and ultimately status as a Professional Instructor. This course includes Beginner AND Intermediate levels.
The Foundation course has easily the first 6 months content for you to run classes successfully at beginner stage, progressing and adapting the moves we teach you, to keep your students interested and motivated throughout and with follow on courses throughout the year detailing more advanced teacher training techniques, more spins, moves, tricks, transitions and different fitness course structures such as conditioning and circuits.
The course information enables instructors to develop the skills & knowledge necessary to plan, teach & evaluate, safe & effective pole movements building to an intermediate & advanced level (advance course available separately). Incorporating moves, tricks transitions & exercise on & around the pole with an understanding of safety for these moves and enables instructors to develop the skills & knowledge necessary to plan, teach & evaluate, safe & effective pole movements, techniques and exercise at beginner to intermediate level.
This course is suitable for those who wish to obtain a formal certification from one of the World’s leading organizations in Pole fitness and Pole Dance training, ESTABLISHED IN 2003 ONLINE training is most suited to those who are unable to attend our courses in person and suitable for international students world wide
